If you are ever looking for a place of warmth, happiness, and adventure, then Jamaica should definitely be next on your list of places to go! The beautiful island has become one of the most popular vacation spots for so many reasons. The food, beaches music, and unique culture are just some of the reasons why people from all over the world rush to visit. In May 2020, we’re setting off on our annual Jamaica Dance Trip- and we couldn’t be more excited. After all, the only thing that can make this incredible island even better, is 10 days full of Salsa dancing, exploring and socialising with amazing, likeminded people. We’ve rounded up 10 reasons as to why our annual Jamaica Dance Trip is a MUST for 2020…
Negril is FULL of fun things to do!
When we’re not enjoying our time learning to dance in the sunshine and partying the night away, there will be the opportunity to explore the beautiful beach town. Whether you’re a beach bum or an adventurer, there’s no shortage of great things to do in Negril. Take a stroll on the 7 mile white sandy beach, take a ride on a floating Tiki bar, go snorkelling and swim amongst the sealife, or sit back and watch the sunset (it’s one of the best in the Caribbean!)
We are experienced dancers and will help you every step of the way
We specialise in Salsa, Kizomba, Bachata, Cha Cha Cha, Afro-house and dancehall, and we will be able to teach you elements of each of these amazing genres throughout our trip. Please do not be hesitant to come if you are a beginner- everyone has to start somewhere and we all started with two left feet! We will be there to help you and offer friendly advice
Meet incredible people from all walks of life and make friends for life
Our dance trip last year was sold out, and over the years it has attracted groups of people from all over the world! There is no age limit- everyone is welcome- young and old. We love meeting people from all walks of life, and due to dancing being such a sociable activity, a lot of us come back with good friends for life.
We fly together from Gatwick Airport
We fly together from Gatwick airport and embark on our 10 hour flight over to Jamaica. With all that time on our hands- what better way to socialise and get to know each other!?
You’ll have a welcome Rum Punch cocktail waiting for you on arrival and the first night will be dedicated to ‘ice-breaking’ & getting to know one another
This is the perfect way to relax and begin your Jamaican Dance adventure! You will be greeted with a Rum Punch on arrival at the hotel, followed by a delicious group dinner in our main restaurant and then we can all enjoy a live show, music and drinks on the beach to finish (for those still standing!)
We have an exciting new addition to our May 2020 trip- a qualified personal trainer!
We’re very excited to announce that our May 2020 Jamaica trip will include a fitness programme with our very own qualified personal trainer Christopher Potter. We will be running fitness classes throughout the trip so you can get those endorphins (and muscles) pumping!
The hotel is simply beautiful
The 5* Riu Club Hotel that we’ll be staying in is luxurious and the ideal place to unwind and soak up the glorious Caribbean sunshine. You’ll come away feeling completely rejuvenated and relaxed
You’ll be extremely well fed!
The food is incredible and there’s cuisines to suit every taste! There’s so much choice and the opportunity to try traditional Jamaican dishes every night too. There’s no way you’ll go hungry…
Enjoy our Catamaran Cruise day adventure!
This is without a doubt one of the highlights of the trip and will be a day that you never forget! We will enjoy a day of snorkelling and swimming in the breathtaking caves, topped off with a stop at Ricks Cafe before returning to the hotel.
Finish off the most perfect week with a spot of Pirates of The Caribbean fancy dress! (it would be rude not to)
Our Pirates of the Caribbean farewell party night is always an amazing event full of fun, laughter, drinking and of course DANCING! It’s the perfect way to end the most perfect 10 days in the beautiful Negril
You’ll come away feeling happier and healthier and with a spring in your step!
Dancing releases the most happy endorphins out of any exercise- it’s energetic, fun and sociable. Mix that with a week under the Caribbean sunshine, and you’ll come away with a new lease of life!
